The System definition of Feelings and Emotions as Being Alive

A belief propagated mostly through popular culture like movies, music and TV where one believes that if one experiences feelings and emotions as automatic energetic reactions to certain events or stimuli one is apparently "Alive". Yet no one wants to go deeper and actually investigate what, when and how come we experience these energetic movements without ourselves as feelings and emotions, why do they come and go and why they never last.
