Backchat

Backchat is the inner gossip as thoughts that happens silently in the mind and is directed at others. Backchat constitutes out of all the nasty thoughts one has about others, that usually are only expressed in outbursts of conflict. And because of the nastiness of backchat, it is usually unspoken, and kept only to self. It is (to put it simply) when the mind ‘talks back’.
